Ecstatic Twist

Every moment a twist of changes,
Twist by twist a surprise of serendipitous joys,
Unsolicited, unprepared for such deep-seated feelings,
That really riled an ecstatic tempest in a spirit.

Chuckled, chuckled!

Seal With Ocean

So what he was drained and unable to tear down the lanes;
Every lap is unique thence each is a new match.

He who knew the dynamics never failed him;

Every lap is a challenge but each arms with defying resiliency.

Tonight, the sky and trees, vision above water were uncannily clear;
Every lap is free from reins so each comes alive anew.

The water medium was shivering him cold and numb;
Every lap is an accretion endorphins as each immerses in joys.

Click here, swims into amazing benefits!

Harp seal pup, Canada, 2002
I found that living with harp seals around the clock in full immersion was inspiring and addictive in a way that few wildlife experiences have been. The more I saw, the more I wanted to see, and as each roll of film was wound up, I wanted to shoot another. I also loved being far away from everything else. We had a radio on the boat and a satellite phone that I used occasionally, but for the most part it was just the ice, the seals, and me.

He Strikes 2.5 Again!

Tonight the blogger swam his stress away,
Every stroke took something from his heart,
The strokes of stress impounded last two weeks on,
Take and exchange stroke for stroke,
A stroke pounded soulfully into the water,
The element of essence and pureness,
A stroke of spirit punched a stroke of stress,
Olympic size pool to and fro is one lap,
One hundred fifty strokes each lap times twenty-five laps,
Punched away three thousands seven hundred fifty strokes of annoyance,
It is great a swim would squirt after squirt,
Chuckled, chuckled diminutive blogger,
Of grabbing strokes of sizable spirit,
Swimming two point five kilometers was great,
Washed away all the stress helped rein themselves in.
Chuckle chuckle!

No Storm Can Dissuade Me

The sky got darkened with precipitous clouds,
Then poured down the rain sudden and in jets,
Punishing winds bending trees and breaking branches,
Gusts swirling pushing and throwing sunloungers into the pool,
But this man unhesitantly plunged into the roaring water,
Temperature plummeted the water were rapidly cold,
As he raised his hand in that even colder and beating rain,
To reach as far as his hand can to pull and push,
No struggle, no fear and no constraints,
Broken branches, submerged sunloungers, disconcerted sound and disarray,
He swam two point five kilometer smoothly and calmly in a state to discourage,
A little achievement he akin a display of determination for he is really a simple man.

Hey Brother, Give A Hand!

He who has nothing but his beliefs and values. Convictions held steadfast in his chests. He who has nothing has merits and pureness to offer. Merits and pureness not broken by betrayal. A helping hand is nature's merit in its purest is of his belief and a value immeasurable. When one is betrayed, one still embraces his beliefs his values fleshed by merits and pureness, he feels sad. That is all.
